Seeded 48th, van der Biest will take on 17th-seeded Julia Misimer of Overland Park, Kansas, on Wednesday at 9:18 a.m. in the round of 64. Misimer finished 1 over in stroke play.
First-round leader Yuka Saso of the Philippines shot a 5-under 67 on Tuesday for a 12-under 132 — five shots clear of the closest competitor — to earn medalist honors.
The cut for match play came at 6-over 150, with 13 competitors playing off for two match-play spots.
The 36-hole championship match is scheduled for Saturday. FS1 will broadcast the last two days of the championship from 2-4 p.m.
